pastor EMILY RETTINGHOUSE

Pastor Emily Rettinghouse (she/her) is a Montana native, coming from the church of Laurel UMC. While in the ordination process, she served as an Elisha Intern at Spearfish UMC in South Dakota; chaplain in the NorthShore hospital system in the greater Chicago area; and associate pastor at Prince of Peace UMC in Elk Grove, IL.

Recently serving as Pastor at Cody UMC in Cody, WY, she also volunteered as a police chaplain for the Cody police department. Emily serves on several UMC camp boards as well as conference-level committees. She was ordained as an Elder in Full Connection in the Mountain Sky Conference in 2022. Her passions are pastoral care, worship, teaching, youth, and community engagement. 

In her spare time, Emily enjoys trivia, playing drums, being with her kids, baking, and being outdoors. She is so excited to serve alongside the wonderful people of Hope UMC Billings Heights!
